Lloyd Schwed of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is a Managing Partner of Schwed Kahle & Kress, P.A.,with more than 27 years of experience in business and securities litigation.  Schwed formed the law firm nearly eight years ago, including offices in Palm Beach, Miami, Orlando and Tampa.  The firm’s attorneys have more than 60 years of combined experience handling business, securities and commercial litigation as well as personal injury and general insurance claims throughout Florida. The firm services all of Florida from Key West in the south to Pensacola in the North and has achieved the prestigious AV-rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Lloyd Schwed attended Loyola University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1981, and then went to the Washington University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1985. Following law school, Schwed began practicing at Fowler White in Miami, concentrating in the areas of business and commercial litigation and eventually gaining experience in multiple areas of law.  In 2011, Schwed was awarded the prestigious AV-rating from Martindale-Hubbell for preeminent skills and the highest ethical standards based on a confidential survey of Members of the Bar.

Mr. Schwed has donated hundreds of hours assisting and representing indigent clients on a pro bono basis through the Legal Aid Society for the past 28 years. The law firm as well as Mr. Schwed personally, also provides substantial financial support to Legal Aid programs. Outside of his professional and academic achievements, Schwed is a longtime Parishioner at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church in North Palm Beach, Florida. He is an avid golfer and is a member of Jupiter Hills Golf Club, and enjoys boating and swimming.

 

Dean Goetz Biography

Dean Goetz is a practicing personal injury attorney with over 30 years of experience who

currently practices out of The Law Offices of Dean Goetz. Based out of Solana Beach,

California, The Law Offices of Dean Goetz has gained a storied reputation for assisting

victims of motorcycle, car, truck, construction and other types of accidents. Mr. Goetz

has first-hand experience dealing with a myriad of complex personal injury cases, and

possesses exemplary knowledge of California liability and personal injury law.

Of note, Mr. Goetz acted as the attorney in the historic Kransky vs. DePuy and Johnson

and Johnson case. Taking place on March 8

trial ever in the United States. Mr. Goetz, with the assistance of his colleague John

Gomez and other medical experts, was able to convince the jury that DePuy’s ASP

device was defective. The plantiff John Kransky was awarded an $8.338 million verdict.

Dean received his post-secondary education at the University of North Dakota, and

graduated with a Bachelor of Business and Public Administration degree. He then

matriculated at the UND’s School of Law, and was awarded his Juris Doctorate. Mr.

Goetz has been licensed to practice law in California since 1975.

Mr. Goetz is a member of several professional organizations including the California

State Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys

of San Diego and the American Association of Justice.

When not practicing law, Mr. Goetz can be found contributing to one of several

community service organizations. He is currently a member of Encinitas Rotary Club and

was the former President of the La Costa Canyon High School Foundation. Mr. Goetz

was also a Member of the Executive Board of Directors of the San Dieguito Boys & Girls

Club.

In his free time, Dean Goetz enjoys playing in the USTA 4.5 and 5.0 tennis leagues. He is also

a tennis coach, and has coached boys and girls on the varsity level. Mr. Goetz also enjoys

fly fishing, golf, basketball, softball, swimming, skiing, running, cooking and traveling.
